How much do estimates cost?
Our estimates are free, except for Design/Build. With Design/Build the initial consultation
and a price range within 20% is provided at no cost to you. There are fees for detailed
costing and plans which become part of the fixed price contract should you decide to
go forward with the project. Please call us for additional information.
Can you provide an estimate on a house that I do not own, but am considering purchasing?

will provide a free estimate on a home that has an accepted offer and an executed contract
between the seller and yourself.
Do we accept credit cards?
We do not accept
credit cards; however, we do provide access to various types of construction financing.

How long does it generally take for construction to begin once the contract has been
signed?There are many variables that go into determining when a project will start. The start
time is greatly dependant on the particular project and when materials are expected to
arrive. Depending on the season and the scope of work, construction generally begins
6-10 weeks after the contract has been signed.
Who is responsible for securing permits?
ZAC Enterprises NY
is responsible for securing the building permit and the certificate of occupancy, the
Owner is responsible for both application fees.
Who will be my main contact once construction begins?
Prior to construction beginning, a pre-construction meeting will provide you with a formal
introduction to your construction supervisor.
Are you licensed and insured?
ZAC Enterprises NY maintains a Westchester County Home Improvement license and liability, disability
and workmen’s compensation insurance.
What measures are taken to reduce the amount of dust and other debris that result from
demolition and construction?
We will stage all addition work to be 80% complete prior to opening the existing
home to accommodate the new access. Once the home is opened to the addition we will install
a product called “Zip-Wall”. This new product greatly reduces the flow of
dust and debris.
Where are materials being used for the job generally stored?
Products delivered to the job site will be stored in a mutually agreed location discussed
at the pre-construction meeting.
